Frame size selection depends on three primary factors: required output torque, gear ratio, and motor input power. The NMRV range spans from NMRV025 (suited to low-torque precision drives) through to NMRV130 (suited to high-torque industrial conveyors and agitators). If you provide your motor power in kW, required output speed in rpm, and application description in the enquiry form, our engineers will confirm the correct frame size and ratio. Yes. All NMRV and NRV series gearboxes are designed with IEC-standard input flanges — B14 and B5 configurations are standard across the range, with NEMA flange options also available for the inch series. Australian industry predominantly uses IEC-standard motors (400 V / 50 Hz), which are fully compatible with our gearbox input flanges without modification. If your motor uses a non-standard frame, include the motor nameplate details in your enquiry and we will advise on the correct adaptor.
Our manufacturing facility is certified to ISO 9001 for quality management. All NMRV and NRV gearboxes carry CE marking in compliance with applicable European directives. RoHS compliance documentation is available. Third-party inspection by SGS or equivalent can be arranged for specific shipments on request — include this requirement in your enquiry. Full documentation packages are prepared as standard for all export shipments to Australia, the UK, and North America.
All four series use aluminium alloy housings and are manufactured in our facility. NMRV is the standard single-stage worm gearbox with flange or foot mounting, covering gear ratios from 5:1 to 100:1. NRV shares the same worm gear technology but is configured for shaft-mount installation using a torque arm — suited to applications where the gearbox mounts directly onto the driven shaft. Double-stage units couple two NMRV stages in series to achieve ratios well beyond 100:1, up to several thousand to one. PC+NMRV adds a helical gear pre-stage before the worm output, delivering higher efficiency than a worm-only drive while retaining the right-angle output and self-locking behaviour. Yes. Ever-Power's in-house machining capability covers non-standard output shaft diameters, extended shaft lengths, hollow bore configurations, custom flange hole patterns, and special surface treatments including stainless output shafts for food-grade and washdown environments. OEM and custom configuration requests are handled routinely — include a dimensional drawing or description in your enquiry and our engineering team will confirm feasibility and provide a quotation.
Yes. We manufacture an NMRV inch series with NEMA flange compatibility and inch-dimensioned output shafts and keyways — covering frame sizes from NMRV030 through NMRV130. NEMA 48C, 56C, 140TC, 180TC, and 210TC input flanges are available depending on frame size. If you are specifying for a North American or mixed-standard installation, specify the NEMA frame size in your enquiry and we will confirm compatibility.
