Our method is based on parameter-optimized deep neural networks (DBNs). This model has both supervised and unsupervised learning capabilities, allowing it to be self-adaptive. Our algorithm is able to recognize faults in different states of the gearbox using its vibration signal. We have tested our model on two gearboxes.

These technologies are expected to create tremendous opportunities in the coming years and fuel the growth of the gearbox housing market.
